I StumbledUpon a great website today. It reminded me how important protecting yourself on the Internet is from a privacy and information security perspective. Everyone should be aware of what information trails you leave on the Internet when you browse, shop, download, etc.
The below URL does a great job of help making us aware:

Tell me what you think, I look forward to hearing your comments.

This is a great tip for those of you that are looking for a quick and easy inbound link. A inbound link is a transferring link from a external website (different domain) that links to your website. It is a great benefit to your search engine rank to increase the number of inbound links your website site has. The number of inbound links has a direct impact on your Google pagerank (PR). The Firefox Google toolbar includes a pagerank checker which I recommend getting. The higher your pagerank the better your visibility on Google. Pagerank works on a 0 -10 scale with only the most popular site getting a 10. For example, apple.com is ranked a 10 at the time of this post.
Now for the free link. Goto www.superpages.com. On the bottom of the page is a link called “Add or Edit a business”. Enter your business number in the field and follow the instructions. If you are not listed in the directory this another opportunity for some free local exposure. If you are already listed make sure your website URL is included.
This is a great freebie. Do you have a great Internet tip? We would love to hear it!

Howard

Last night the sky were lit over Howell New Jersey for the towns Third of July celebration in Oak Glen Park on Old Tavern road. The family and friends parked about a half a mile outside the park and walked in. It really was a perfect night for some fireworks in the park with the family. It was not over crowded and everyone was having a great time. The fireworks display was a perfect ending to a beautiful day.
Happy 4th of July!

You can use other creative means such as getting balloons printed with your website address as store decoration and freebies for the kids. How about apparel and hats with your website address? Here is a list of suggested places to add your website address to.
Is your website address on:
- Business Cards
